The Firm
KJC Capital is a private investment firm based in the British Virgin Islands. The firm was established in 2023 and runs a single programme on behalf of its clients.
The firm's founding was unassuming. A quantitative approach that had been refined over several years, run first on personal capital and subsequently on the accounts of family and close acquaintances, was formalised in 2023. The purpose of the formalisation was not growth. It was to draw a clear line between the firm's capital and its clients', and to put in writing an arrangement that had until then rested on trust alone.
The firm is small on purpose. Its principals run the same programme on their own capital, in their own accounts, alongside yours. The alignment of interest between the manager and the client is not an aspiration but a structural feature.
The firm is based in the British Virgin Islands. Client capital is never held by the firm at all: it sits in the client's own account with a broker, which is a stronger separation than any policy of ours could provide. The terms of the arrangement are set out in the client agreement rather than on this site.
